Standon & Puckeridge Lawn Tennis Club

Standon & Puckeridge Tennis Club is a small club in the middle of Standon, we are very easy to find, opposite to the Doctor’s surgery and next to the Community Centre. We are a small thriving club and are always looking for new members. We have three Astro turf courts and all three courts are floodlit. We have a supervised Junior Club night which is on Tuesday and runs from 5.30-6.30, and a Club night for members and prospective members on Thursdays which usually runs from 7-9, this is also supervised by a Committee Member who will supply tennis balls. We only ask for a £1 contribution towards the floodlights. If you are just looking to play the odd set of tennis then club nights will suit you, if however you like to play competitive tennis then we can also accommodate you. During the winter we take part in the Winter Mixed League; the Village league, both Ladies and Mixed; and we have three Ladies Vets teams. During the summer we enter the Herts league with two Ladies teams and one Mens team.
